the following leaders -- dong ling, deputy director of the standing committee of the people's congress of ningxia autonomous region; eng. ahmad halaiqah, investment consultant for ikarus petroleum company, kuwait; huo jianguo, vice president of the china society for world trade organization studies and former president of the chinese academy of international trade and economic cooperation; wang nengquan, member of the expert advisory committee of the national energy administration and former chief economist of sinochem energy co., ltd.; and kong jun, deputy general manager of china-middle east investment and trade promotion center -- attended the forum and delivered speeches.
wang yanchun, president of the regional economy and industry research institute of caijing and deputy editor-in-chief of caijing magazine, presided over the forum.

china and arab countries have different resource endowments and development paths. they are all transitioning toward a cleaner, greener, and low-carbon direction. the arab states is one of the regions with the best endowments of solar and wind resources globally, and has unique conditions for developing clean and renewable energy. at the same time, china has advanced technology and rich experience in the fields of photovoltaic and wind power, complementing the advantages of arab countries in the fields of clean and renewable energy. the two sides have huge potential for cooperation.
