dozens of representatives from six
countries in the arab world took part in two hands-on workshops in ningxia hui
autonomous region last week.
the "arab countries infrastructure interconnection cooperation workshop" and the "arab countries logistics, construction and management workshop" ran from july 10 to 13, with a total of 65 participants from bahrain, egypt, iraq, jordan, palestine and syria attending.
the workshop members conducted investigations into a number of logistics companies in ningxia, including yinchuan railway and highway logistics park, jd "asia no.1" yinchuan e-commerce logistics park and ningxia zhongli cold chain logistics co. the delegates also held discussions on international freight trains at the logistics park, automated express sorting lines, advanced cold chain facilities and ningxia's experience in overseas contracting projects.
participants said they had gained a greater understanding of local achievements in infrastructure interconnection and logistics construction and the enormous potential for future development, as well as getting a chance to appreciate the natural beauty of ningxia.
this year, in addition to the last week's workshops, ningxia has been selected to host three foreign aid training programs, covering the fields of standardized livestock farming techniques, densification control and trade and investment promotion.
